How Does the Investment Process Work?
Investment on WeProperties platform is designed to be transparent, accessible, and straightforward. Here's how it works:
- Browse Properties: Investors can explore a curated selection of premium properties on the WeProperties platform. Each listing provides comprehensive details, such as property value, expected rental yield, and location.
- Select Investment: After exploring available property listings, investors choose properties that align with their financial goals.
- Complete Due Diligence: Before making the first investment, new investors must complete a one-time due diligence process. This simple step ensures compliance with regulatory requirements to start investing with WeProperties.
- Fundraising Phase: Once a property is selected, investors deposit their chosen amount to participate in the acquisition of property shares. WeProperties pools these funds with other investors to achieve the property’s funding target.
- Legal Ownership Setup: After the property’s funding target is met, WeProperties sets up a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for ownership. The SPV is registered under the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), ensuring all legal and regulatory compliance. Investors receive share certificates representing their ownership in the SPV.
- Rental Income Distribution: The property's rental income is periodically distributed to investors.
- Exit Strategy: WeProperties offers investors two flexible exit options: Transfer of Shares and Sell by Vote. The Transfer of Shares option will be accessible via your dashboard during the investment holding period, while the Sell by Vote option will be communicated directly by the WeProperties team at the end of the investment holding period.
