How Can I Exit My Investment?

WeProperties offers investors two flexible options to exit their investments: Transfer of Shares or Sell by Vote. While we recommend holding investments for the investment holding period (typically three (3) years) to maximize returns, we understand that circumstances may require an earlier exit. Here’s how each option works:
  • 1. Transfer of Shares
Investors have the opportunity to sell their shares to others during designated Share Transfer Windows, approved by the regulator. These windows are opened periodically throughout the year, and investors are notified in advance to prepare.
    • Preparing Your Shares: Before the transfer window opens, you can decide how many shares you'd like to sell and set your desired price. This allows you to plan your exit effectively.
    • Live Listing: Once the window opens and you confirm your listing, your shares will be available for purchase by other investors on the platform.
This option provides liquidity and flexibility for those looking to exit before the investment holding period ends.
  • 2. Sell by Vote
At the end of the investment holding period, investors have the option to sell the propery through a voting process. Here's how it works:
    • Market Valuation: Shares are valued at the current market price.
    • Investor Consensus: All investors participate in a vote to decide whether to sell the property or hold it longer. If a consensus is reached to sell, the property is sold, and the proceeds are distributed proportionally based on each investor's share.
This method ensures a fair and transparent process, allowing shareholders to make collective decisions that align with their financial goals.
